A very well received dance show, acclaimed as the best TV show in Tamil so far, Maanada Myulada season One finally came to an end. The results were in public domain two weeks ago and probably because of this the telecast of this mega event was not so charming. The dances were awesome, everyone rocked and the anchors were great. The stage was mesmerizing and the chief guests were great stars. The charm less ness may be because of so much sweet and less spice?

Raghav preetha looked dismal and pathetic when they were left alone holding their giant size replica of their prize cheque. Everyone in the dais was seen clamoring around Sathish and Jayshree and this two were aloof. Even the Third and Fourth prizewinners got better treatment. And when Surya asked for his comments his reply was cut short by kala who prompted him to hand over the Mike to Sathish. And preetha was not even mentioned in the dais. There was also dissapointment in the very expressive eyes of Bhavna when it was announced they were third. Well somethings cannot be hidden.

This is surely a tame end to an otherwise great show. Probably they should have shown it live without any cuts or may be a week earlier. The value of the prize is only for Sathish and Jayshree and the rest are left in cold. That includes us.

Her guru Raghu master [ brother in law of Kala master] was honoured in the stage and that is the sign of her good upbringing and also the secret of her success. She organised a great show as usual without failing to thank all the contrinutors. She also made it a point to thank the channel for being so helping. Did you know that the sizzling hostess of the program is a cousin of Master Kala. Talent runs in their blood.

Voting lines are open for the Maanada Myulada Mega finals. All four finalists rocked in their final show. Raghav-preetha deserve a special mention for their innovative song and dance. Full of stunts and gusto the pair was amazing. If the final performance is the only criteria for selection they are the undisputed winners. They mixed stunts, comedy, western, folk and also own lyrics. Sathish was as usual boneless and tireless with full steam. Bhavna was as usual gorgeous and their saree falling from top was great show. George was as usual charming and comical. It must be a tough choice but there was nothing new in sathish performance and Raghav left everyone spell bound. Vote MM RP for raghav preetha, or MM SJ for Sathish Jayshree or MM GS for George sujibala or MM RB for RajKhant and bhavna to 5600655. The Voting lines are open up to 21st evening five PM THE FINAL SHOW WILL BE HELD IN NEHRU STADIUM ON 21 ST FEBRAURY. This show undoubtedly is the best so far among dance contest shows in Tamil television.

Everyone was hooked to Kalignar TV yesterday to see the results. And they maintained the tempo. Every semifinalist and the previous two losers performed. And then the judges came to the stage and announced that the winner…. will be announced next week. Lakhs of votes have been polled announced Kala Master and she also said people from all ages and gender participated in the SMS poll. I wonder how she got this data? If the order the semifinalists were asked to perform is any indication then George and satheesh are in top two. Raghav and suresh the next two? If so it would be disappointing to be fourth for raghav. And i would be shocked if Rajkhant is out. Well one more week and we will know. The next week has rain in the sets. This show is easily the best in Tamil dance shows. And the way they extended the voting and the tempo they are creating is enhancing the image of the program Kudos to Maanada team. Well now you know we are writing about Maanada Myulada.
The final winner is ofcouse Master kala for making this show a grand success.

The second round of Maanada semifinals was over yesterday. Four out of six will be voted by public for the grand finals. The vote is by sms and to 5600655 The first letter of the male and female contestant is to sent in the following format MM space first letter of male first,first letter of female. Example if it is for Raghhav preetha it should be MM RP to be sent to 5600655. The performance of Rajkhant aand bhavna was outstanding in both rounds so the final position is still difficult to guess. The Judges especially Namitha showed indirectly her preferences and her dislike for RP was also seen. Your costume is fine was how she started telling Raghav in first round. And she whistled for George. Well Public votes will decide is what they say. Lets see.

Maanada Myulada, the most popular show in Kalaignar TV has reached the semi finals stage. Six pairs gave sizzling performance called the Foreign Round.yesterday. The Judges did not give any negative comments and the decision is by SMS votes. Our choice is as follows

Raghav and preetha are slowly becoming the prithiviraj- uma of Mannada Myulada. They consistently get highest scores but the prizes are more often given to others. The comedy show of Maanada Myulada was screened on Sunday. They and George scored 60/60 and the award went to George[for males] and Bhavana for female. Infact it will be unfair to say that there was partiality. George was very funny and easily the best. And so was bhavna. So why am I complaining. It is the attitude of Namitha and also the concept selection of Raghav-preetha. The concept of today was amazing. It was truly like watching a three minute hollywood film. But it was less funny. We ordinary tamil mortals do not understand subtle comedy and Namitha is no different. Probably it was all over the head transmission for her. When she gave twenty to Raghav she said, I have to follow my seniors so I give Twenty. But for george she said it openly that he is her favourite. She also said it loud and clear that sathish is in her good books. Probably Raghav should learn to dance to her tune.
Also the concept of today could have been exhibited in any of the previous rounds and I am sure the judges would have no other choice but to honor them. They are awesome but very distant from the prize. so far,.

Aachi Manorama was the special judge and she easily made her presence felt.

The guest judge is a veteran and he proved he is one. Very apt and frank comments and he could tell what we missed. His eye for details was crisp and his judgement was perfect. Namitha is turning out to be a class judge. She recollects previous judgements and points out the exact plus and minus. Kala master of course is the best judge for dance shows in Tamil. Her experience and judgement mettle is astonishing. Brinda master is also good in her statements. The costumes are great and so are the concepts. The stage is better than the other two though I feel Tamil needs to catch up with the Hindi shows. George won the Best male performer award. But I could not find much dance in his performance. It looked more like a stage drama but of course his expressions and concept was fine. His marks were also less than Sathish and raghav. But Mr. Ravikumar the guest judge chose him and I am too little to comment on his reasons. Preetha won the best female performer award and deservedly. Namitha gave twenty for raghav-preetha but Ravikumar was not happy for the means of payment for curing blindness. No wonder he is a successful commercial movie producer. Preetha justified that all is fair in love and war Satish was also good in his steps and his concept was comprehensible by me but every judge felt lack of clarity and hence his marks were unusually low. Rajkumar looked like surya in his dance and he was good but the judges found fault in the end of the concept. The army dance was also good. So Maanada mayilaada is proving to be the best among similar shows. The show is directed by kala master and she deserves accolades for her this maiden TV venture. Sanjay is definetly the best compere.

Jodi number one screened a pre wild card festival special. No surprises and nothing spectacular. The male competitors and female competitors danced as a unit gender wise. so so. The compere’s were as usual at their best. The season one winners came to introduce the present participants. somehow something seemed amiss.

Manadu myuladu was excellent. The Judges were awesome the sets great and lighting effects were superb. And the western round had no elimination. The reason given was great performance by all. True. Every one were great. The costumes and the dance was very filmy and great. A super leap by Manadu
