Close up Super dancers finals was telecast in Sun TV yesterday. Gopinath won the solo. Amazing Dancers , the group and Jack and Jill, the duo. The other finalists were Samyukta and Anitha in Solo, RUnit in Group, Bala and Shalini’s in duo.

The winners were presented Trophies by Mallavika. Though the Sun TV website talks about cash prize also, It was not shown in live and details are not in public domain.

The performance by all participants was worth the hour.

Close-up Super Dancer,’ the mega dance show on Sun TV, Saturdays, 21.00, reaches the final round.

The three winners (Group, Duo and Solo categories) of the preliminary round will be announced in the final episode of the dance show, to be aired as a two-part half hour series.The contestants in this round will compete for the titles, Super Group, Super Duo and Super Solo.

The first part of the final round will be aired on February 16, 21.00. and second, February 23, 21.00.

The finalists for the Group category are ‘Amazing Dancers,’ Coimbatore and ‘R-Unit,’ Chennai. Anitha (Chennai), Gopinath (Madurai) and Samyuktha (Coimbatore) are the contestants for the Solo category.‘Rhythm Beats’ (Karur) and ‘Jack and Jill’ (Coimbatore) have been qualified for the Duo category.

Produced by SAREGAMA Films Ltd, the show will have actor Malavika as the judge who will be joined by Cool Jayanth and Chinna in the finals.[THE HINDU]
